TRAVEL AND ACCOMODATION

All participants, including invited speakers and invited commentators, are requested to make their own travel arrangements.

Travel information

By train

The Railway Station is ten minutes walk from the University of Nancy 2. As Nancy is situated at the point where the main North-South lines meet those running East-West, there are many trains going to Paris (in 3 hrs) or to other major cities in France and elsewhere in Europe.

By plane

Metz-Nancy-Lorraine Airport is 22 miles from Nancy by the motorway/superhighway. There are direct links to Paris and to all main cities in France. Unfortunately, buses driving to Nancy are VERY expensive, and there are no train. The best choice is then to fly to Luxemburg City, then to take a train to Nancy.

By road

The A31 motorway runs from the Benelux countries in the north to Spain in the south. The A4 from Nancy serves Strasbourg and Paris.

All invited speakers and commentators will stay in the Hôtel de Guise (18, rue de Guise. F-54000 Nancy. Phone: 33 / (0)3 83 32 24 68. Fax: 33 / (0)3 83 35 75 63). This hotel is located at 15 minutes walk from the conference venue.

Participants, apart from invited speakers and commentators, are requested to make their hotel reservation themselves. We advise you to arrange your hotel accommodation early. Apart from the Hôtel de Guise, we recommand the following hotels :
