Presentation

The DEFLE is the French Department of Foreign Language at Nancy University. It offers :  

 

Courses adapted to your level and your needs

We will test and evaluate your skill in oral and written expression and comprehension and put you in a suitable group.
Maximum 20 students per group

 

Schedule  12 weeks at the rate of 20 hours training course per week

Objectives

  • Study of spoken and written language
  • Various activities including the use of live media (such as radio, press, Internet, video, TV, etc)
  • Discovery of French culture and civilisation (visits, meetings, litteracy, theater)

 

 

Preparation for official diplomas awarded by the French ministry of "Education Nationale" to prove your fluency in French

  • DELF "Diplôme d'Etudes en Langue Française"
  • DALF "Diplôme Approfondi de Langue Française"

Delf B2 exempts you from having to take linguistic tests in all French universities

Examinations are scheduled at the end of the 1st and 2nd half-years.

 

 

Intensive sessions

Schedule

2 weeks  1st to 12th of September 2009   20 hours training course / week
2 weeks  1st to 15th of January 2010

 

Specific objectives

  • Easy integration of students to French University life (discovering the French education system, taking document notes, making various administrative payments, …)
  • Presentation of Nancy town from different perspectives (practical and cultural life, …)
  • Ability to communicate in French (finding one's way, asking questions, inviting…)

Monday to Thursday from 8am to 11:30am and from 13:30pm to 16pm
Friday From 8am to 11:30am
